Soo..We’re Pregnant!

I don’t know how many of you saw that post of mine 6 weeks ago titled ‘6 weeks pregnant’, but it was not a lie. It was however a HUGE accident that I hit Publish instead of Save;) I have been documenting this pregnancy weekly like I did with Bray and I made the big mistake of publishing that way earlier than I meant to. But we are overjoyed to say that we are PREGNANT with #2!! And the baby is looking perfectly healthy!!!!!!!
Just knowing that your baby is healthy is what every parent wants to hear when they find out they are pregnant. Regardless of whether you long for a boy or a girl, all that matters is that you and your baby are healthy. To be honest, as soon as I confirmed the pregnancy by having a test with somewhere like Your Loving Choices, that is all I cared about. My little family was finally going to be growing by two more feet and I was just so excited.
Obviously we know so many couples struggle to get pregnant even once, so we feel even more blessed that this is our second time. And just like all to-be parents, we might be doing all the things necessary – routine doctor checkups (both a pediatrician and a spine chiropractor just in case I need a spine alignment!), baby shopping, nursery decorations, etc! We are so excited to welcome the little one and for Bray to meet him/her!
Babies can be full of surprises, and we’re hoping for all of the good ones rather than the bad, but that doesn’t mean the worst can’t happen at the final hurdle during delivery, so we’re still keeping our fingers crossed. Many mums-and-dads-to-be find that their baby is healthy all the way through the pregnancy, only to find that something goes wrong during the birth. If this does happen, however, it’s not the end of the world if you click here for a lawyer who deals with birth injuries. Hopefully, you won’t be needing them though!

We are a little over 12 weeks along now, and finally feeling really good. I will be honest and say that I am 100% excited to have two kids, and also 100% terrified to have two kids;) They will be about 25 months apart, which we were hoping all along to have our kids two years apart, so its amazing how perfectly God worked it out for us. Such a blessing! I have about 6 weeks of back logged pregnancy posts that I will be posting this week, so in the mean time, if you have any questions for us- just leave them in the comments.     Congrats! My daughter is 19 weeks with her third baby. All 24 months apart all born in June….lol I’m looking forward to reading about this baby too! I hope you are feeling well. My daughter is always a poor little sick thing, but so was I.

    So exciting! My wife is 13 weeks pregnant with our second. We’ve nailed the spacing as well and our first will be a week shy of her 2nd birthday. Congrats! We’re excited to live through another pregnancy together with your blog. 🙂

    I did see that post! I realized when it disappeared, it was probably an accident 😉 Congrats! Having two is a very scary/exciting/rewarding experience! My boys are exactly 2 years apart (10/1/11 and 10/13/13), and it has been the most wonderful blessing. Hope all is well throughout your pregnancy!
