Fall Crafts Roundup

Fall is around the corner. You can clearly feel it in Phoenix, as today was only 106 instead of 115…oh yeah, were feeling the Fall air;) Really though it is beginning to feel like fall after all, I mean even Starbucks has out the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Yummm.

Last fall I made a few projects. I did a burlap banner:

A very festive wreath:

Monogrammed pumpkins:

Also, I painted some Dollar Store pumpkins white:

Side note- no judging allowed on how I used to ‘edit’ my photos with rounded edges and the antique effect. Man, I thought that I made photos look so cool. It’s funny how much your preference for things can change in just a years time!

This fall, I am getting a head start and starting this weekend on some things. I want our home to feel like its fall inside, even if its a million degrees outside! To start it off, I found this incredible list of fall projects around the blogosphere:

101_fall_tutorials_everything_etsy_450px

This site has projects listed ranging from wreaths to jewelry to clothing. Some of the stuff listed isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but there are a ton of great projects to choose from. Heck, there are 101 to choose from! So listen, lets all get some crafting done this weekend- whether you live where it is actually cooling off and you have your windows open, or its 105 and your sweating! Happy Friday!

<3,
PS- Our kitchen makeover was featured over at Tidy Moms blog! Thanks so much Cheryl! If you are finding us from there, welcome! So glad to have you:)

I think the fact that we don’t experience true fall colors here in Phx is why I am so obsessed with them. Oh, and I have already munched a few candy corns…
